Nacht Der Untoten - Night of the Undead

Nacht Der Untoten is the very first nazi zombie map. It was introduced in Call of Duty: World at War, and was unlocked one of two ways. You either had to complete campaign mode or have xbox live to open up the option to play it.

Verruckt
Translated : Crazy
Verruckt is based off of the creepy mulitplayer map asylum.

Introduced the PPSH41 to Nazi Zombies

The story of Verruckt is that they were experimenting at the asylum with the zombies. But things went out of control and an extraction squad was sent in to rescue Peter, the American scientist. And that's how you end up as the four marines, also known as The Marine Raiders. Dempsey was suppossed to be apart of the mission, but it is unknown how he ended up from being assigned, to Verruckt to ending up at the SNN facility.

Verruckt was the very first map to include the power switch. The cliche which has stuck with zombies mode on every map since Shi No Numa.

Perhaps it's best addition was the Perk-A-Cola machines, which have made it far easier to get to higher rounds and far easier. And added a little more fun to the game. Speed Cola and Double Tap make it simpler to use shotguns and LMGs and give a little bit more of a fast paced feel to the game. Juggernog has made it less frustrating, so none of those wacky super fast downs from spazzing zombies. And Quick Revive makes it easier to play with those newbie friends or randoms that seem to be danger prone in zombies.

Verruckt also introduced trap boxes, moving random boxes, and more doors.
Der Riese "The Giant"
Story: Der Riese, or The Giant, is a top secret Nazi facility run by Dr. Ludwig Maxis, set up by the Third Reich. They called the scientists working here Group 935. It was the most important facillity in creating the zombies. They created the teleporters and the pack-a-punch machine. When subjects pass through the teleporter, they reappear, zombified. Which is described in a recording of Maxis saying subjects survive teleportation, but are unresponsive to commands and uncontrollable. Takeo, Dempsey, and Nikolai were the test subjects who were immune to these effects, and after Richtofen attempted(unkown if succesful)to kill Maxis by locking him and Sam in with Fluffy, he took them along with him to help control the outbreak.
NOTE: Richtofen killed Maxis for the Illuminati because in the starting point under the vent there's a note that when decoded says 'Edward it's time to kill Maxis'.
Der Riese is also the origin of the Wunderwaffe DG-2, created by Dr. Richtofen. Also, it is where the Porter's X2 Ray Gun was developed. It also may have to do with Die Glocke "The Bell", a German anitgravity experiment with a device shaped like a bell, but that's another story. But it's suppossed test rig, the Flytrap, is seen outside of Der Riese, and can be activated as part of an easter egg. So after Maxis died/left/whatever happened to him, the zombies broke loose and Der Riese was comprimised and they broke out. SOS and HELP signs spelled in sand bags can be seen on roofs. And Fluffies puppies became the new hell hounds that appear.
once more is discovered or anyone coorects me on anything, I will edit/revise this.
Here is the
infamous Wunderwaffe DG-2(pic is of Wunderwaffe DG-3 JZ but
same design, different colors) designed by Dr. Edward
Richtofen. Next to it the Porter's X2 Ray Gun, designed by M. Porter
to reduce excessive peripheral damage compared to the original
version. And also increased ammo capacity.
Here is the teleporter from Der Riese.
The device which created the zombified nazi's, hell hounds, and made
it possibly to achieve higher rounds on solo play.

Below is a picture the picture of the Flytrap, rumored to have been the testing rig of the secret nazi antigravity device, The Bell. In the game it has no purpose but the easter egg and in reality there is little factual evidence of it's existence. Still, it's pretty cool they featured it in the game. I could only find a picture of the real thing, but if you but the one door by the M1A1 at the mainframe and look out that window you can see it in the game. The Bell is not actaully shown in the game, but there is some stuff mentioning Die Glocke on a paper and in the Intel for Project Nova in Black Ops.
I'm not adding a picture of the Pack a Punch because it is the background. And these content boxes can only be so long so I'm not wasting space.
If you look under the teleporter in Der Riese, there are boards that say GER, FRA, ENG, refering the the countries Germany, France, and England. It is possibly they are the other countries where teleporters are located, which is very possibly since one is in Kino Der Toten in Berlin, Germany. Also there is a picture of a zombie by the Eiffel Tower, pointing towards France. I currently don't know of any evidence about England.
Any suggestions of adding to the page please post in the suggestions forum or if you don't have an acct. the guestbook.
Shi No Numa
The Swamp of Death
Story-
After the incident at Verruckt, and the loss of his hand, he heads to the Rising Sun facility at SNN located in a remote region in Japan. It is one of the few known sources of Element 115, because of the meteor fragment from Tunguska. While Peter is continuing experiments, Richtofen arrives, after the events at Der Riese. With our other 3 heroes, who were test subjects immune to side effects of zombification. Richtofen cannot let Peter find out what happened there so he ultimately silences him. Thus the hanging man. Then there is a transmission sent to Peter that Der Riese must be contained at all costs, even though it has already failed. So Dempsey, Richtofen, Takeo and Nikolai fight off all the zombies in the swamp, with the help of the DG-2 which he brought with him from Der Riese. Afterwards, by unknown ways they teleport back to Der Riese, to find it abandoned, except by the zombies, then that feeds into the Der Riese after-story.
The legendary Ray Gun prototype designs were developed here, the Rising Sun facility. The Nazis siezed the designs and created the Ray Guns, along with the Wunderwaffe.

Shi No Numa is where part of the Tunguska meteor appears. Outside of the map you can see the Rock which appears to have bright red veins of 115 flowing throughout it, the source of the zombies because Element 115 causes reanimation of dead tissue.

Below is the hanging man, who nobody knows of 100% who he is besides the people that made the game. Most likely it is Peter, because he only has one arm. Many claim he hung himself but I speculate that idea and believe it was Richtofen's doing, because how does a man with no chair/ladder and missing an arm hang himself. Plus Richtofen enjoys watching people die slowly, so hanging someone would be a perfect way to satisfy him.
